DJ Mixers with integrated Audio Interfaces:

There are several DJ mixers available which have the audio interface already integrated. The Interface is needed if you want to hook your mixer up to the laptop or play with Traktor Scratch or Serato over your decks.

Most of these models are a bit more expensive than the regular DJ mixers. Brands that offer such equiped mixers are Allen & Heat, who integrated a Serato Scratch interface into they’re flaggship the awesome Xone DX. Reloop, Pioneer and of course Rane offer these DJ mixers as well. Reloop has a less expensive solution in stock with the RMX-40, which looks like a clone of the DJM-800 by Pioneer.

Withe the integrated solution you solve the problem of the annoying cables that end up tied in knots everywhere but the mobility of your set up is lost too and people who buy  Serato Scratch or Traktor usually want to use it in Clubs , at partys or at their friends houses. Carrying your DJ mixer everywhere because you need the integrated soundcard for your Laptop doesn’t make any sense for most people.
